Has anyone tried Weathertech Lampgard headlight Film?
I found this today while searching the internet. I am wondering what thoughts others on here have about this. Is it worth it? Anyone tried it?
Though it seems to be a new product as etrailer.com has the weathertech lampgard but on the weathertech website it doesn't show up for the f150 but it available for other vehicles.

Boost :)
I have the film on my headlights, but not the Weathertech. Just a regular clear bra type film on mine. I installed it myself and it is a bit tricky with the slight angles and then double angles in the corner of the lights. A little patience, a blow dryer, and a good straight edge make it work just fine.
This film prevents rock chips of course and will prevent the headlights from hazing over and getting that cloudy look to them over time.
Oh and for anyone that might be interested, I will be selling my perfect condition 2011 FX2 black trim headlights with this film on it very shortly. I have a projector retrofit coming and will not need my factory headlights anymore.

I used this:
http://www.xpel.com/
Actually worked pretty well and went on easily. I would recommend buying a heatgun for this and having some patience, but it goes on easily and is invisible.
Search Amazon/eBay for better deals on the cost of the product though.

That stuff is GOLD!. I had it on my Tacoma, and I have a different brand on my F150. If you do a lot of highway travel, it saves the headlights from the odd rock, or from get sandblasted over time. Worth every penny. Easy to install if you are reasonably patient, it takes about 20 minutes per light.

I used 3M on my old 4runner and have Xpel on my F150. The 3M was on for 6 yrs and was perfect. No yellowing or nicks. I put the Xpels on within a couple of weeks after I got the truck so it's been about a year and it's like new.
I used a hair dryer, windex and a squeegee and there's no bubbles. I definitely recommend it for anyone.
