Has anyone bought an ESP from an on-line dealer?

CWrose it took my finance guy 10 minutes tops to do the paperwork on that ESP. That 30 bucks equates to 180 dollars an hour, not too shabby IMO He needs to realize we live in an Internet world, I wonder how many ESPs that Ziegler Ford writes in a day/week/month? It's gotta be worth the effort to have an Internet presence even at 30 dollars a pop. Maybe you should have asked your salesman what makes your Ford ESP worth more than XYZs Ford ESP.

Did it all on-line, with only one phone call to Gardiner to confirm that all the electrons made it to them and they had all the info they needed.
Don't know if it makes any difference, but I waited unitl the truck had 35,500 miles and was 2 1/2 years old before I got the extended warranty. I've seen some posts that say it is cheaper the earleir you buy it, in particular before the 12 month/12,000 mile point, but then I would have had to pay the premium 2 1/2 years ago, and wouldn't get any benefit until the original warranty is expired.

From what I've read it doesn't matter when you buy, the ESP starts at the in service date of the vehicle. It is higher if you wait, so I guess buying early is the key to a better price.

Ford ESP's run from original date or original "in service date".......
buying the warranty @ 35,500 gives you the SAME warranty as buying it at 10 miles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! while it is cheaper to buy it with less than 12,000 miles......Buying it at 35,500 IS NOT extending it any longer.
Your 7 year 100,000 mile warranty is just that, 7 years or 100,000 miles....whichever comes first. Buying it later DOES NOT add 2 1/2 years to the warranty like you are saying.
I suggest you read your contract, Your logic is wrong!
