Meh, who are we kidding. I'll probably never even attempt to get them to power fold. It's a nice feature to have with my current mirrors (which are utterly and completely useless for towing) but for the few times I ever use the power fold feature I could probably fold them in by hand. I'll just switch garage spots with dad so I can avoid the single wide garage bay.

I was sold on them when I drove my uncle's XLT with the towing mirrors, I was in love with the visibility. You can see everywhere! The convex on both sides is awesome too.

I park in a lean-to but the few times I parked in the single bay I had to fold one in and IIRC I could make it with the other one out.

I love them too, especially in traffic and backing up. Never really have to look over my shoulder anymore. I hate driving anything else now because the mirrors are always small.

If all else fails I can always reach out and fold one in and fit in the garage easily. All other advantages of them will definitely outweigh the drawback of no power folding.

You could just go slow and let the side of the garage fold it in.

You'd break something first or scratch them to hell.

I back into my garage. Because It's a single bay I only ever park in the garage when I know I'm going to be home for awhile, or when it's going to storm. I usually park outside during the day when I come and go as it's a PITA aiming the truck in that small bay as it is.

Yeah I was just kidding but when I take my truck through the drive through car wash I just let the big swirling arms fold them in for me.

I go to a wash bay so no need to fold em in

Good call.
It would surely be an impressive feat if you were to succeed. However, this mod would make an FX-R retrofit seem as easy as changing your pants...
