Default Grille swap for my 2011 XLT

I am looking at swapping grilles from the 2011 stock 6-bar chrome one to the new 2013 STX stock black one w/painted surround. Does anyone by chance know if they are compatible for swapping? Also, does the surround come pre-painted or as bare plastic? Looking to do it sometime soon depending price and availability of course. Thanks for any help!!

Not sure if you have considered it, but you will more than likely come out much cheaper having your surround ptm. It's tough to find one already painted...

Ok one more question, does anyone online have the 2013 F150 body catalog up yet? On fordparts.com when searching parts for 2013's it shows 2012 grilles. I may have to go to the dealer...

Is this not it?

I would call or go buy. It's even difficult for the parts guys to understand their own catalog since there are so many versions...

As far as I can tell they are still listing the 12 grilles, the description says 3 bar natural color, whereas the new ones are a 2 bar I guess. Attached is a pic of exactly what I want my truck to look like. I am going to have the XLT chrome bumpers wrapped white, along with the new grille surround if possible.

That will look great! Do you have a picture of your current grille?

First, here's a pic of mine right now and second is the overview of what I want it to look like. I liked the chrome pkg when I bought the truck but the 6 bar grille is now not the best looking thing out there to me. I am having a slight love affair with the new grille and painted bumpers etc.
