Default MPG report 2013 Plat ECO Thread

So I have had my 2013 ECO Plat 4x4, 3.55 rear end, for about 2 months now. 1500 miles, I live near San Antonio so it's a bit hilly

My Driving Habits. I leave it on the screen I see MPG and I have a game in my crazy head to try to get the best MPG I can..... It's my OCD.... So I baby the crap outa it trying to get 20+ out of it

Average city/highway puts me around 15

Hill country highway. Lots of hills, 60-70MPH gets me 18-19

All highway, 70-75mph on a not windy day gets me 18-20

I am happy with that, but was hoping for a little better. Any help with MPG using a tuner? Also, didn't notice much difference in 87 and 93 octane.

What's a whole tank avg? Fill up to fill up, that's your mileage.

I have about 20k on mine, I see 17+ per tank, keeping it under 75 on highway and easy roll offs and starts. Keep it smooth and 17 per tank isn't bad, but will take 10,000 miles to get there

I get 15 mpg average out of mine but I do a lot of short distance trips and admittedly, I drive it pretty hard too as 550 torque is way too much fun off the line.

I can and have get 20 - 21 mpg when on road trips set to cruise at 65.

But where is the fun in that? :-)

My driving is so different it's hard to tell, and I do some sitting while running (A/C in hot Texas). If I do a combo of all driving and sitting I am around 15 right now.

I had a 12 eco that I could get up to 21-22 on the highway at 70-75, had 36K miles on it, but I have not been able to get this new 13 over 20 at all for any stretch of black top.

I find that I can get better mpg not using the cruise control. Maybe cause I can allow it to gain more momentum on down hills to push further before giving it more fuel. I dunno. Justnwhatni notice on a DC to LA road trip.

Buuuuut as you said, wheres the fun in that lol

OP my mpg has steadily gotten better as I put more miles on my truck. Give it some more time and you'll prolly see the same. I avg'd 18.5 with just under 3k on my coast to coast road trip. Stop light to stop light here in LA I'm getting 16.5 at the moment, but that's pure city driving only and I haven't rolled over 5k miles on my truck yet.

I didn't start seeing decent mpg until I hit 20k miles. Before that it was hard to get to 15-16 mpg. Had the IC TSB performed in December and mpg got a little better. A little after that I passed the 20k mark and the mpg is definitely better. Currently at 278xx miles today when I filled it up-23 mpg.
