The chrome on our trucks just don't do it, The fx4 trim looks really good on the green IMO.

 

yeah i go back and forth, honestly. Most of the time I hate the chrome, but when she's all cleaned up I go back to liking the chrome. I think of all the colors out there, ours looks best with chrome, but it looks better with black and paint to match

 

Ya, with a color like this, the more the better, its so nice when clean

 

I'm not a big fan of chrome in general, and I hate how it looks on blue flame, but I think the green and brown colors really come out with chrome bumpers etc.


I wouldn't PTM the trim at all! leave your chrome!

 

I am blacking mine out already did blacked out headlights , fx/raptor oem tail lights matte black wheels , have matte black 3m wrap for the chrome door handles , iron cross front and rear bumpers but out of everything I have done I can't get anyone to ship me a freaking grille. Bumpers on seperate pallets all the way to Alaska 100$ but a grille everyone goes nuts...

 

Plastidipped my bumper today. 7 coats of black, 4 of glossifier. Love how it came out.

 

looks good man. my big thing this week is I picked up a center console from an fx4. gonna replace my fold up seat/console. then I got a line on a ptm bumper from an eco boost truck andni can replace my chrome one

 

Nice! wish i could find a decent PTM bumper, like this black a lot but when there's a lot of light on the paint you can see a pretty stark difference. Definitely post pics if you get that PTM bumper on, cant wait to see that.

I have some FX4 running boards on the way right now, think that will make a big visual (and functional) impact.

 

Got new 19x9 dropstars today got them with a +18 offset wanted a wider stance with the bigger tires...

Hey guys i get the matte black thing chrome is for pretty trucks matte black gives it that mean look.. getting rid of all the chrome as well piece by piece part by part... EGR matte black in channel vent visors and matte black bug shield got the dropstars today. Other mods are the matte black bed 4x4 offroad decals, 2.5" motofab level, full led repacement kit, HID headlights by Xentech, lineX bed liner, weather tech floor liner, led tailgate backup and turn signal lights, undercoating,

 

Bought the nitto trail grapplers in a 275/70r18 to go with the dropstars and those are 18x9 sorry... my next mods are fx4 headlights and tailights, roush cold air intake, tune by ford, 50" curved led over windshield, EGR matte black fender flares, matte black grill, and cree flush mounted backup lights for rear bumper...
