[QUOTE=Team Canada;4250963]I love how many people call my truck black when it is in the shade, but then in the sunlight, they go wow, that's an awesome color.
Where's all the blacked out green gem trucks at? I hate the look of chrome and might plasti-dip a select few parts, but barely see any in here to get an idea of how it will contrast with the green.
Because green gem is rare enough as it is. Factor in the fraction of F150 owners that mod their trucks and it is near impossible. Spotting a green gem is already difficult unless you're at the perfect angle.
Got pulled over by a state police office in South Dakota. While sitting in his car he questioned my registration. He said why does your registration say green when I pulled over a black truck and I am currently sitting behind a black truck. It took a bit of conversation to convince him it was green. Opening the door was the best way to prove it was green, the jams always seem to show the true color.
Anybody have any luck finding a rattle can with a similar color? I found dupli color dark emerald green metallic, but it's slightly lighter and would stand out when the rest of the truck looks black on overcast days (see below for dupli color example).
