The Race Red paint is beautiful and I think the 3.7 is one of Ford's hidden treasures. You're going to love that bad boy!

Thanks, I love the Race red! It catches your eye from a mile away! And yes, from the 100+ miles ive put on her so far the 3.7 seems to be a great motor. Averaging 16-17 so far with all city which is pretty good for a break-in period!

Oh man that race red color looks awesome in the sun. I saw one the other day. I'd be sold if it was metallic!

Every plant has a slogan. KCAP is quality delivered. Or also built with pride.

So you went ahead with the 3.7, good choice! How do you like the power? Surprising isn't it? Throw on a roush intake and you will love how the engine growls.

Its got surprising power for a little V6 engine! Surprised with the stock sound too even though ive only had it to 4.5k RPM.

And is that the $289 intake I saw over in the engine talk area?

Ive got 3 questions about it...

How hard was the install?
Is there any Power/MPG gain?
and does it void any warranty?

Im gonna get a bedliner, toolbox, tint, and Weathertechs first, then ill start on other mods!

I've had my truck in for service and they didn't mention the intake. Plus roush products are sold at some ford dealers. It didn't change my mpg, stayed exactly the same. There's a noticable increase in throttle response and torque but the big difference is sound. You'll have a hard time keeping your foot off the gas. Install was very easy, took me 10 mins.

Do you keep any parts of the stock box with the new intake?

Is it just a few bolts and screws to replace it?
