What is good for the other motors, is good for the 4.6L. Are you looking for more performance mods or something else? A custom programmer will be a good next step.

I would like to hear how much a flowmaster muffler would help or a high performance air intake would help with mileage.

You wouldn't want a cold air kit, so many forums say they hurt you more then actually helping

You'll get hp gains but sucking all that hot air from your engine bay kills you mpg

the problem with the cold air kits is that they arent sucking in cold air, most of them suck it out of the engine bay and its warmer, the stock setup actually sucks cold air out of the fender hole. Read up on the gotts mod links ive posted in the other threads asking about intakes and cold airs and you will find your answers.

you know I always wanted to cut a hole in the driver side fender, and put a small scoop that stuck out the side the fender and fed into the air box. then the air would be rammed into the air box and it would be as cold as you can get too! Not to mention with a small enough scoop, it think it could be made to look good. Opinions?
maybe not even so much a scope and kinda a vent that just stuck out just enough to catch air.
