I am going the other way, you have gotten all the bad stuff out of the way, you are good to go now!!
(Ask me again on monday, and I will say, torch it and get a new truck. )

Thanks guys. Guy who hit me was driving a small loader with a grapple (finger-like forks that close and open like a fist so they can pick up the logs). The forks stick out pretty far and he just misjudged his clearance. They felt really bad and the tree service has good insurance. I've talked to their insurance company and already submitted the estimate. They have accepted the claim and have agreed to work with me to get it fixed. They don't even need an accident report. My truck was parked in the street a few houses down from my house.
Looked around (on the web) at my local dealer inventory and we went to visit a 2016 Platty in "Magnetic". It was pretty sweet. Plan to go back on Sunday for a test drive. It's a 5.0 and sounds pretty nice! I'm real happy with my EB motor though, so want to make sure I like the truck just as much in a v8. It's pricey too, so not sure if I will actually pull the trigger. Love my current truck and it has been trouble-free other than getting hit twice!
The place I take it to for the body work and paint isn't the fastest or the cheapest, but they do great work. I'd rather wait a few extra days for it and get it back fixed right. She's my baby and I want her looking like she did before the accident.

So I pulled the trigger on a 2016 4WD Platinum with the 5.0 motor. They dinged me a little for the hole in the fender on the trade-in and I negotiated a settlement with the insurance company. It's a wash. And I don't have to live through another car repair. I'm happy. And I have a new truck.
