Looks almost similar to the damage I had after hitting a deer.

Hate to hear this blue. I'm glad everyone was OK. Hope they get 'er fixed, and rolling soon.

I would still recommend both of you being checked out by an Orthopedist, just to be sure there isn't any hidden damage. Injuries from wrecks can show up weeks later.

Get well soon... you and the truck!
PA State trooper was saying the same thing about that area of I-81. I hit the car from the inside edge of my driver tow hook. Probably only had 2-4" at most between the barrier and the passenger side of the truck. One of the troopers said that was pretty impressive to pull off.

Got a phone call from the dealer this morning. The frame had damage near the tow hook and the driver side suspension components. Instead of replacing the front section of frame, the collision guy convinced my insurance company to throw an entire new frame under it. It'll be a stronger fix, but take longer because they have to ship one in. I'm self-employed and can't keep anywhere near the amount of equipment in my Chrysler 200 rental car. I can't wait to get my truck back.
