Got into a wreck over the holiday weekend
A friend and I decided to hop in the truck and head to NYC over the long weekend and visit a group of friends in Hornell, NY along the way. We make our stop in Hornell as planned, catch up with our friends there for a few hours, and get back on our way. About 45 minutes into Pennsylvania (I-81) we run into light rain and some construction zones near Scranton, PA. Apparently someone wrecked their 00ish Park Avenue into a concrete retaining wall, ending up completely sideways and lightless in the interstate that night, just minutes before I get there. I didn't have time to stop and I was already too far past the exit ramp to do anything but stand on the brakes, steer as close to the wall as I could, and hit as little car as possible. Now my truck is sitting 7 hrs away from me at Barber Ford in Exeter, PA. I'm really proud of how the truck faired the wreck and I would've drove it home with just a tire change if it wouldn't have bent the upper control arm.
And for you visual types... PICTURES!!
Not bad for an Ecoboost on Livernois 93v10 performance tune through the mountains:

I feel awful for you. I gotta tell you... ...That I81, (particularly where you had your accident) is a dangerous stretch of road. I drive from Schenectady,NY to various parts of PA a couple times a week, and I see a lot of bad things happen there. I know that road like I know my driveway. Those lanes aren't too wide between those Jersey barriers. You got off easy.
Get well soon... you and the truck!
