No, sorry. The lower gears in the 6 are way lower. First gear in the 6 is below 4:1. Second gear in the 6 is very close to first in the 4. The top gears are nearly identical. The 4sp has a top gear of .7 and the 6sp is .68.

How is your truck from a stop? Does it shift more like it should with a factory tire?
I have 34 inch tires and have had exactly the same thoughts, although I'm already at 3.73. If I were to do it, I'd get a programmer and push my shift points up..

You're right on that. I used my programmer to change the axel ratio but I run through gears 1-3 immediately and am in 6 by 40mph. The MPG gains I have heard about are non existent. I requested a tune update from MPT and I'll see how this changes things.

As for the noise, it seems it's been getting quieter the more I drive it. I won't be able to take it back until Monday though.

1st Gen Raptors came with 34.5†tires and 4.10s - that is considered baseline for our year group.
Edit: baseline for 35s

You should have had a tune update in hand to apply to it right away. That's what I did going from 3.55 to 4.11.

Also, my shop used "calibrating" oil for the rear diff. Had me change it out to normal stuff at around 500 miles.

He did say there was a break in fluid and to change it to either conventional or synthetic between 500 and 1000 miles.

Little bit of good news today. Called the installer today and told him off the noise and without hesitation said he would warranty it, order new gears and call me once they arrive.

For me its hard to tell because my exhaust is loud. If there is any whining, it is minimal at best.

Got my MPT tune update with the gears actually written into the tune and the shifting updated. It drives so much better now. Like it should. Only had a short trip so no word on mpg yet.

I have 3.73s and 34" tires. I'm at about 1,800-ish rpm at 65. Since the OEM size is about 32", I'd like to get the pep back by going to 4.10s. Off road, I can crawl where I need to, but I notice the extra struggle. (if I could only have a "3 stick" for wheelin' so I could have low range in 2wd...)
