Good replacement tire for Pirelli 20's

My Pirellis have about 22k miles and all 4 are down to the wear bars. They were terrible with full tread last winter, so I need new tires ASAP. Just didn't want to have to buy new tires already for a 1 year old truck. Terra Grapplers were great on my previous trucks, so I'm going with them again.

I have 37,000 miles on my stock Pirellis and the outside tread is about worn down (middle is much deeper by design). still quite a bit left in the tire. They have handled great in the rain and dry conditions. Spinning in the rain is a torque problem, not a tire LOL
I am a little skeptical this winter but we shall see.

I have 45000 on my Pirelli's. I am looking at alternatives but don't want to sacrifice the quiet ride. These tires don't make a sound. I have had Cooper ATR's before and all they do is sing. Anyone able to shed some honest light on the sound quality of their replacement tires?

I have had the stock scorpions a pair of Zeons, and now a pair of michelin ltx at2's. No comparison the michelins are the best out of the three.

I only have 3600 miles on my ATR's and I think they're great. Since I don't want to run my black 20's in the winter, I'm buying a second set of 18's for the winter with duratracs. I'm sure the ride will be significantly different, so it's not an apples to apples replacement. Duratracs seem to get great reviews if you're looking for a more aggressive tread.

I would have to agree. if you want a great highway tire that lasts forever the michelin LTX are the way to go and if you want more traction and still a 50,000 mile warranty the michelin A/T2.

I have the Michelin LTX MS/2's and they are hands down quieter on the road, smoother riding and better in the snow than the POS Pirelli... 30K miles on them on my 2012 F150 Lariat and they don't even look worn.

Old thread... but here is another vote for Michelin LTX M/S2. I have about 10k on mine and they're like new even with some towing thrown in. Quiet and grippy. I love them. They are not good looking though.
