Good deal?
Hi fellers, i'm new to the site and Im planing on going down to my dealership tomorrow and picking up a 2012 fx4 super crew,5.0 litter engine, race red, with luxury package, FX appearance package, and the navigation. I'm paying 43,000 ish before taxes and after rebates. I'm pretty excited as according to truecar.com this is a great price for this truck. What do you guys think? can i squeeze a few more dollars out of these guys?
My first purchase is going to be a Gibson Metal Mullisha exhaust, i heard an FX4 with it on today at the dealership and let me tell you that it sounded amazing !!
thanks for your opinions guys.

Is that price before or after rebates? Sounds like about the same truck I bought a couple months ago (mine is Ecoboost, not sure which motor you are looking at), and I paid <$40k. I know prices can vary based on location, but I would think, assuming the $43k you listed was after all rebates, that you might be able to do a little better. Either way, enjoy the new truck!

I haven't priced 2012s but I paid $33,798 for a 2011 like yours except Ecoboost and no Nav. The dealer knocked ~ $5,000 off msrp and I got $4,750 in rebates. Hope that helps.

the nav is only an extra $2500 so technically i should be around 41,000. I knew they could do 41,000. i'm glad i didn't sign the paperwork today. I'm gonna go in there like gang busters tomorrow morning and try to get another 2K off.
anyone else have any input?
