Talked to an ex-Ford mechanic, said getting past the security key can be done if you know the truck...or so he says...I can believe it...if they want it bad enough, anything is possible these days.

It could of been worse...Imagine if you had just put your leveling kit and tires on it...Insurance would not pay you that money back. Sorry to hear though.

Depends on your insurance company. Progressive covers them.

If you pay the premium for this coverage, we will pay for sudden, direct, and accidental loss to a:
1. covered auto, including an attached trailer; or
2. non-owned auto;
and its custom parts or equipment, that is not caused by collision.

Damn, sorry for your loss. If they know the truck well enough to steal it I wonder if an alarm system would have been much help especially if you have a remote start? Thoughts?

Well I hope that the insurance decides to cover it. If so, look on the brigh side, you may get a beter truck since the end of the year is right around the corner.
