Default goin to the track on saturday.

Im going to the track on Sat to see what my new fx4 eco boost runs before I get a tune on it. I Know its not a race truck but I just want to see the before/after the tunes and this may also help a few out there deciding if there gunna tune there trucks or not.

I live in Colorado with that high elevation so I'm not expecting good numbers mabe around 16.5 area. But anyways for those who have ran there trucks before what's the best way to run it? Just putting it in drive? Or manually shifting? I'm planning on brake boosting it to around 1800 rpm's and see what happens

Ive taken mine to the track several times. It runs 14.8s consistantly, trapping around 94.

Mine has the ecoboost, 2.5" level, 20x12.5" tires. I havent ran it with my new intake nor exhaust cutout yet, but im hoping around 14.5.

You'll have fun. Peak boost is real low, but enough to launch at around 1200 and then drop it to the floor. Good luck!

Right on those are pretty good numbers. U think the bigger tires are slowing you down any?

It should run at least low 15. I've launched mine in 4x4 several times without issue..just put it in drive and turn the t/c off.

I'm curious about how the Altitude affects you.

The Ecoboost Should be affected way less than an naturally aspirated engine. Manifold pressure is the same no matter what the altitude as long as a waste gate is controlling it.
