What's the quickest/easiest way to clean this sucker out? Haven't taken a deep look at disassembling yet, any pointers on disassembly or a good place to stick a shop vac hose would be nice!

Thanks in advanced!

Removing the instrument Cluster isn't to big of a deal. Look up some youtube/google guides.

getting the lens off is a whole other story though..... you might be able to drill a small hole on the bottom edge of it and shake it out. i tried removing a lense and cracked it, its clipped on but also glued/welded.

It makes you wonder how in the heck a bug gets in there.

Things like that only happen when you don't want it to. Kind of like when you drop toast and it lands jam side down. Just kidding, that always happens.

Is that one of those damn yellow gas spiders?

Berty...I'd just take the gauge out and stick the vacuum onto any vent or opening you can find. He got in somewhere.

Yeah, hopefully that's all I need to do.

Closest disassembly video I've seen is this. Is this what you had to do?

Close to mine, only difference I think is I have the larger lcd screen like yours. I'm hoping once I get to this point I can shop vac the sucker out, but if not I'm hoping the glass is easy to remove.

The silver bezel around the gauge pops off and then there are three screws (thing they are 8mm) one on the top and two on the bottom and pull the cluster and unplug it
