Default Ghost wipers

Hello all.
Recently bought a 2010 with 140K and have had to fix many small issues. My newest problem is my wipers will just start running out of the blue. When they start running I have to pull the fuse to stop them. Have had a hard time finding any info on the wiper system for the late models. Has anyone had this issue or have any tips where to start. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

could be a faulty switch, that's where I'd start. What speed do they come on at?

Really not consistent. Sometimes slow delay, sometimes slow, really no pattern. I am torn between pulling the multifunction switch apart but the late models aren't like the old style where you can clean out the contacts. Was also thinking it could be the run/park relay in the motor. Apparently there's also a governor for the delay portion somewhere near the fluid tank (at least there is in the older models not sure about the late models) Who knows. Just another issue to tackle. They seem to never end.

Probably the multifunction switch needs replacing.

What other issues have you had? My 2010 has 40k and I'm interested to hear what I might "look forward" to as the truck gets older.

Let's see. 4x4 issues, leaking third brake light, expensive spark plug change (almost $20 a plug)
Enjoy
