Nope never had a clunk. It was making a weird grinding noise at first and was sticking after sitting all night so I scheduled a visit to the dealer for it but then about 5 days before the appointment I went out to leave with my fiancé and the wheel was completely locked up wouldn't turn anywhere. Tow truck had to come get it and then it sat on a lift at the dealer for 27 days lol

Did you get your EPAS/ Rack replaced under warranty with a leveling kit on the truck.

The reason I ask is because corporate ford is stating I need to return my truck back to stock...(Take the level kit off and wheels and tires back to stock) before they will replace the part.

Question...
I grabbed a EPAS as lost freight (EL34-3D070-BB, apparently 2014), but it has a little alum. tab/ring snapped off, and I'm wondering if it's just for cable fastening (strain relief), or what?

It's located on the lower-front edge of the ECU "finned" box, about 4" inboard of the large 12V power connector.

It's not really thick enough to be structural, that's why I'm guessing it's for the cable attachment.

I just need to know if I should fab one and have it welded back on, if it's critical.

(no, I don't have an F-150... I just bought this to resell, I'll post it in the marketplace once I make this determination/repair)
