I just finished my install with the xyboard, but I need big time help with tasker. Is there anyway that I can get a zip profile that you use on your tablet?

Is the xyboard 8.2 still the way to go for ease of instillation or are there some newer tablets that will fit just as well and have the latest software?

I did a xyboard install with ease. I wish the battery would stay charged when the truck was off.

Are you using tasker? I know some people have very advanced profiles, but mine is really simple, no battery issues, even after the truck sits for a week when I fly to work. Wired to fuse #38.

Power on: Screen Timeout set to 23 hours and airplane mode off.

Power Off: Screen timeout 10 seconds and airplane mode on.

Just wanted to throw that out there, might help somebody. Happy new year F150 fans!

My xyboard is on a similar Tasker profile but I also have it taskkill all open apps. Mine still drains 10% battery power per day while the screen is off. I've had to pull it out of the dash a few times now because it went below 5% and wouldn't boot up without the power button. I wish I could figure out a way for it to trickle charge while the truck is off.

I think it maybe my battery. I'm losing 70% of my battery in a day. I downloaded a profile from yellowfinii that works great except for the battery drain. I'm buying a new battery next week.

Have you checked your charger? I'm still having problems finding a charger that will provide enough juice to keep mine charged. If I have gps wifi and streaming music on then it drains fairly fast. If Torque is running then it drains twice as fast.

I went to Verizon. It has to be at least 2.1 amps or greater. Mine seems to work fine. I haven't had it long enough yet.

Is you truck charging while the ignition is on?

Yes but barely. If I use lots of Wifi then it slowly drains the battery.
