It's the 2.1a charger. Some people have luck with it, I just went with a 70w inverter and used the wall charger that came with it. I still have a couple of 2.1a usb chargers to try out.

If the 2.1A charger has two ports, try using the other usb port. My understanding is that only one of the ports is "2.1 amp" and the other is "1 amp" but that could have changed/vary upon device.

I myself use an inverter for power.

Edit: I read this thread a while ago. Its very useful.

Hmm, sounds like just because it claims to be 2.1a it might not actually be.

Mine is a 2 slot one that states 2.1a for a single device or 1a shared for 2 devices.

I'll pick up an inverter today and give that a try.

edit - ok I'll try Yellow's advice first on my way home today.

OK Fellas, I have the install complete and have the Tasker and Torque apps. But have no idea how to set either of them up to do all of the wonderful things that you have going on yours. Could you help an Old Lady out and offer some input as how your Tasker is set up? I am not a blond, but I am totally lost. I can Bluetooth all of my music, and have a wonderful gps system, but I want to tweak it to be even better! Thanks in advance!

If you want a good starting point, i'd say use the files i posted for tasker here

I have quick install instructions there. For the fle explorer, i use "ES file explorer"

yeah, In post 461, follow the link I posted "go here for the downloads".
From that link click on the "tasks" folder.
Form there i have the tasker files for download. for simplicity, use the files with "small" at the end. right now i only have coyote or ecoboost scenes, i could prob do a generic at some point.
Once you download the files to the tablet, extract all the files in that zip file to the 'tasker' folder on your sd card. There should not be any other folder(s).

Then open tasker, hit menu > restore data.

That should load the tasks/etc. some tasks may have to be modified depending on the device/hardware/wat you want it to do.

Has anyone had any issues "Pairing" their Bluetooth OBD2 with their tablet? I have tried pairing my device to a Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 and used all of the provided pairing codes: 0000, 1234,6789, and 6788 and been unsuccessful.

Can any of you offer any assistance as what to try next? or perhaps how you solved this issue? Thanks in advance. This FORUM is the best!
