Default Gauge Mode on dash

So my 13' FX2 has a "gauge mode", one is the Transmission Temp, the other screen is blank. Can I add anything to this to monitor? or is it always going to remain a dead screen?

it's the screen of the death, I have yet to read about anyone adding anything there
I think mine has some trailer info there (2nd screen), might be part of the Tow Package, cant remember.

I think it's supposed to be blank for driving at night, less glare.

You get the compass if you don't have MFT display since there is a compass/nav in the info section.

Not sure if you guys know this, but if you're in the transmission temp guage mode and you have the middle shifter with the mt option, press the plus sign on the shifter while in drive. This will engage shift points on the screen. From 1-6, each gear highlights as you drive and shifts through gears in automatic. I discovered this by accident, I never use mt, but I like seeing the gears shift, especially with my tune. This will stay on, no need to do it every time you turn on the truck. Press the minus button to disengage.
