The real problem is you can't fill up!
The real problem is when you try to fill up an empty tank. They set the damn pumps to shut off at $75. That's a little bit more than 1/2 full on a 36 gallon tank. Why have a 36 gallon tank when you can only buy 25 gallons at the pump?
Sometimes I get lucky and I can re-swipe the card to finish the fill up. Sometimes I have to drive to the next gas station to fill up.
What a friggin' waste of time.

While this is a true statement, most of us here are already meeting or exceeding this 'requirement'.
Use of E85, 50% or more of the time, falls under Special Operating Conditions; i.e., you must change your oil and filter every 5,000 miles or every 6 months.
The only other requirement they have, is that [once] each 3,000 miles of operation with E85, you should run one full tank of unleaded. As I average 1K p/mo unless I am making a periodic run down to L.A., that is not too much of a chore to accomplish every two or three months.

Oh well, the U.S. still imports about 3 million barrels of gasoline a day, due to lack of refining capacity. And that just ain't right, is it?
