Rocker Panels: Paint or Bed Liner?

Rocker Panels: Paint or Bed Liner?
I don't like the two-tone of my 2011 Lariat and I want to change it up. I'm currently undecided if I should go with painted gloss black rockers and bumpers, or if I should Rhino line them.
I had bedlined rockers on my last truck and loved it, but this is a nicer truck than my old one so I'm torn. Thoughts?
The truck:
I found this Raptor with Line-X rockers as a comparison and I like it a lot.

On the nicer truck I would go with paint. I saw a truck a few days ago done with bed liner and I didn't care for it at all. On trucks that look modded for off-road, then yes it looks good.

I vote for the spray on bedliner. Mine is older and a different body style, but that's what I did.

Don't mind the red tailgate...I've since painted it white

You can use Al's Liner - use our spray gun to texture it as you like. The quality is excellent, and we back it with a lifetime warranty. Perhaps best of all.... While Al's comes in black, gray and tan, you can also color to match your paint, or color it anyway you want by mixing in auto paint tint (from an auto paint store). Check out the photos below (one person even did the rockers and leading edge of the hood/fenders). You can get more info at http://alsliner.com/alsliner

I have an appointment next Monday to have Line X sprayed. I'll post some pics once it's done. Thanks for all the advice.
Wheels and tires should also be installed later this week.

I had done the Line-X with extra on my last F150 on the rockers and around the wheel wells. It looked great and I had a ton of compliments on the look. The bad: around seems and edges it had the occasional chip. I used touch up paint to make those chips less noticeable. In five years on the truck the "extra" they push did its job and I sold the truck with it looking the same way it did when it was installed (no sun fade). Bonus: Line-X with Extra cleans up easier then paint. Very little truly sticks to it. Would I do it again? Maybe in the later years of a truck but not on my 2012 XLT.
Looked pretty good for an 89 XL (I swapped the front clip with a 96 donor)

I'm planning to do mine with the Line-X Extra or Premium. Should look good on my 2011 Sterling Grey. I already did the side steps in the Line-X and they look great and have held up great. Still shine like new after nearly a year in the Florida sun!
