For the record, my window sticker says the tank should be 36 gallons and that's what they told me as I was putting my truck order together.

I usually use my trip odometers 'A' and 'B'. 'A' for current tank distance between fillups and 'B' for the current trip but only if the current trip is noteworthy, not back and forth to a destination I go to all the time.

I've got 11,000 miles on my 2012 ecoboost F150.

Total mileage 13.0

30% HW / 70% In town would be my estimate. In town mostly short trips (8 min drive to work).

On HW I see about 17-17.5 on the flats.

That sounds more like what I'm getting (I'm sort of hovering at 12.6 but only have 350 total miles, mostly city). I guess I should just accept the fact that the mileage will be lower than advertised until I average some longer highway trips in the mix.

I guess my Taurus is more adaptable to the city type driving. The Eco just wants to get on the highway and run!

Default 2013 Eco 4X4

My XLT reg cab with 8'bed, hd towing, hd payload, 17" load range E tires, 3.73 diff with about 2100 miles avg'd 17.4mpg since new.

I am going on a trip on Wed and will update my stats based on the 534 mile rnd trip. I will reset my trip counter when I fill up and leave.

XLT, Scab, 4x4, 2011

This pic shows why you need mileage to determine average

i see your in Canada, are you using imperical or US gallons on your graph and calculations???? that makes a pretty big difference in MPG results if you are using imperical.

I just drove from Florida to New Jersey. On the way down I got 20-22 mpg keep in mind I have a level kit and my tires are 295 70 18 heavy coopers I was doing about 60-63 mph when I jumped up to 70-75 mph it went to 18-20mpg on the way back I got 16-18mpg no matter what speed I drove. At the end of the day we drive full size trucks and it going to depend on how and where you drive

Could it be because you were going up?

It's the US gallon.
I input the data with liters and kilometers and the app converts to US when I want to display it.
There are a lot more Americans on this forum so I convert for that ;-)

After I hit 2100 miles on my Eco my average went up to 20 plus on the highway. I took this pic a while back.
