Default gas leak

Hey everyone!! I am new here and new to F-150's..... I just bought a 2014 f-150 Lariat ecoboost...... It has the no cap gas fill and when I fill it if I pull the handle 1 time after it shuts off on its own it leaks down the inside of the fender.... sometimes just pulling it out it will drip under the truck.... is this a normal thing??? I wouldn't think so but you never know.....

Thanks in advance....

My 2014 does the same think ONLY if I try pumping more gas after it clicks off.

Right. You need to stop pumping gas when it shuts off. True of all vehicles today.

I will never understand the "top off" crowd. 3 more drops of gas means what to the car?

On my '98 Explorer I could get almost 2 more gallons in from when it clicked off.

My 2006 Sonata was the opposite, had to slow the pump down to the slowest speed or it would overflow without topping off.

both of these are because you guys were filling your filler pipe not the tank.... long term damage in the end
