It's tough to justify the expense though -- it's taken me 3.5yrs to put 8k miles on the truck, and unless I can find someone interested in like-new Scorps, it looks like I'll be several many years away from tire replacement.

You hate the tires, but have had them on your vehicle for 3 1/2 years? They must be working for you.

I didn't consider that there are so limited number of quality replacement tires brand options for the 22's on my '14 Limited.

Here is part of the hill for anyone curious.
Sorry I didn't get my truck filmed because I was busy driving and didnt even think until my friend asked me to film her pulling. LOL

Watch "GMC tries to pull Titan up steep hill" on YouTube

I made it up first try in 4LO and diff locked. Actually didn't bottom out as hard as when I came down. Surprised everyone including me! Ecoboost sounds sweet hauling up the hill!

This isn't your average logging road haha

I was really happy with the performance honestly.

Pics from camp. It was worth the drive. No one but friends around! Had a couple boats too.

I guess that's why there is the option of 18's or 20's.

Get some new tires and level the truck. Based on the pictures and video that you posted, I think you'd be fine.

I've got a 157" as well. the longer wheelbase definitely makes the truck look lower and like you said, it makes it easier to high center.

I went with a 2.5" level and 3" rear block with 285/65R20s and I'm happy with the height it's at. about 3.75" more clearance than stock. I made it through some pretty sketchy trails in northern Michigan that a stock truck definitely would not have made it through. but I think you can definitely find what you're looking for with just a level or coilovers and larger rear blocks.

My Scorpion's sucked also.. They started to crack around the rims at 30K miles. But a front and rear leveling kit on the truck with some Toyo A/T 2's one size taller and made the truck look a helluva lot better! Ride is great with the Toyo's too!

Don't all FX4's have factory 20s? That is my understanding - so, the only option is wheel swap after purchase. Which is what I did -- my point is still valid IMO.

when I got my 2014 FX4, there was/is the option for 18's or 20's ... MOST of the FX4's on the lot had the 20's, but my dealer did have a couple with the 18's ...
