Unfortunately we wont see any boosted v6's in full size trucks for at least two to three model years at the soonest. As far as the comparison between your truck and the raptor are as follows:
-The raptor will have 35 inch tires (BFG All Terrains) with 4:11 gears
-A noticeable difference in power between the two (6.2 has about 410 hp)
-Rear locker for off roading
-Upfitter switches for auxillary electronic components such as lights/beacons/winch
-Fox brand shocks all the way around (nice ride!)
- A truck with more ***** than a Chevy or Dodge!!!!!

Just read an article saying there would be the V6 turbo in the F150 for 2011.

Well, I wanted the Raptor too and recently had a chance to order one with the 6.2L but my dealer would not deal at all even though I am a big repeat customer....the 6.2L is too much a hot item right now and they want every penny of that $3000 premium over the base Raptor. So I declined and got a new fully loaded FX4 Crew and really happy with my decision for everday use for the family and business. While I can afford getting one, doesn't make sense to have a second truck sitting in the garage for the occassional weekend use to really enjoy its capability. But if space, kids, or business needs are not a concern for you right now, I would definitely get one with the 6.2L!

only V6 article I see, but doesn't mention boost...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ecoboost wikipedia mentions that there is an ecoboost v8 code
named bobcat.
http://green.autoblog.com/2009/09/24...-f-150-lineup/
tis article says that an ecoboost is coming to f 150.
I assumed that the ecoboost coming to the f150 would be the v6... After research.. It might actually be a v8
