well thanks guys, and I don't have kids "yet" I do plane on having a fam one day, but as for trips, just to the lake and Vegas not much towing but my jet skies and quads.. as far as to afford it, I would have to see what kind of deal I can get for a trade, there is only one at a dealer where I bought my fx is price at 45 with all upgardes, and for the 6.2 I know is going to be marked up like 10+.. So I will go and see i just hate that dealership there are so when it comes to customer service..

I love my FX4, but if they made the Raptor in a 6.2 crew cab and it was all black I would be all over it.

However I do like the 18" FX4 wheels better than SVT 17" the Raptor wheels.

I just wish I could disable the TC, SC, and RC at any speed.

Just test drive one... Its the only way you will ever know. I went in for some warranty work on my 04 Heritage and came home with a raptor.

really tempting, I must go and test drive one and YES that is the only way to find out, is just I never traded an almost brand new truck to get another truck, is something I am not familiar with and wont know what to expect. So if you guys can give any advice I will appreciate it thanks..

i went to vegas for a weekend and i test drove the f150 platinum, f350, and raptor. i love the raptor!! i wanna trade my truck in but cant afford the payments!! :"(

There has been rumors about Ford putting out a 4 door raptor in 2011. It is supposed to have the 6.2 in it also. I also heard that they are putting turbo v6's in to make about the same hp as the 5.4 with much better gas mileage, anyone else hear this?
