Lol @ the people thinking it may not be an fx4. It's unusual, hence the unicorn reference, but kind of neat too. Hold on to it, and 75yrs maybe you can sell it barret/Jackson as a 1 of 1, and make a killing.

Hey, snap a picture of the cluster, I'm kinda interested in what the gauges look like with out it.

I'm agreeing with you. Mine is the the same as yours.

Very strange. Time for a little detective work. Look up your etis build date and compare the door sticker.
Might be an honest factory mistake. Or some funny business happened. If there's anything that's easy to remove and replace, it's these gauge clusters.
All on your list of priorities in your life. I understand that as well.

Interesting. I would've bet and lost that the FX's always had the red accents.
My 05 FX4 had red, so I just assumed.

Look at any used 2011 fx and you'll see them.

OP ...

I'd say you're lucky LOL. I love my FX4, but I honestly don't care at all for the red FX on the tach. I'd prefer it be the way you say yours is ... just "plain".

On that note, I'd also prefer the blue needles/lights on the gauge cluster instead of red.

that said, none of it bothers me enough to actually care about it. The only thing that bugs me at all is the GREEN backlighting of the keypad on the outside of my driver's door. That should have been red, blue, white, something else ... not green.

same, and I've been wanting to change the color of it to white or red. although I don't think it's possible. I believe someone tried and the bulb is really in there.
