Default FX4 or CTSV

Can't decide which to get, any input?
09+ FX4
09+ CTSV

CTSV year will vary, 09/10 is probably my best bet at getting it around the cost of a FX4

Both.

Seriously though, depends on your needs. I'd get the FX4 if I had to choose between the two.

Wagon?

I'd have a CTS-V Wagon if it were AWD.

Two totally different vehicles.

You'll have wayyy more fun with that LS2 though on the pavement.

Well that would be true if the CTS-V had the 6.0 LS2. The 09+ CTS-V has the Supercharged 6.2 LSA motor that is also in the Camaro ZL1. Slightly smaller supercharger and 60 less hp than the LS9 in the ZR1 Vette

FYI the 04 CTS-V got the LS6, the 6.0 LS2 came in the 05+ CTS-V's just like the GTO and Vette as well.

A month ago I was invited by Cadillac to spend the day driving CTS-V's around the F1 Circuit of the Americas track here in Austin. They had Michelen there to replace the tires and Brembo there to replace the brakes when we were done. I took the CTS-V Wagon around about 5 laps and then took the Coupe around another 3 laps after that and got a sweet video with it too They are certainly amazing cars to say the least!

I'm not sure why anyone would narrow down their vehicle choices to a CTS-V or FX4 F-150. I'm sure you could find more opposite vehicles, but these would be up at the top of the list. If I didn't already have a Supra in the garage, the CTS-V would certainly be at the TOP of the list for a replacement.

560hp, Recaro seats, 6 piston Brembo's, magnetic suspension, and all the luxury of a Cadillac. For about 2k you can have a near 600rwhp car too.

Depends on your needs of course, but I wouldn't daily drive one. I will always daily drive a truck just for general purpose use and hauling the occassional purchase or car around town. The CTS-V, like my Supra, would be a strictly fun night/weekend car.

Thanks for the input guys. I'm wanting a sedan. I don't see an issue daily driving the vehicle.

I certainly didn't mean to imply there was an issue daily driving one, but I wouldn't want to personally. Just my opinion I know of plenty of people who daily drive them and have no issues doing so. If you want to do it, then by all means

After further discussion with my wife, we have decided to go with the CTSV. It is less problematic and very reliable from reviews from all the members on the CTSV forum.

Thank you all for your help on this forum. It has been very informative.
