Im going to get a fully loaded fx4 and was wondering if you guys feel the appearance package is worth the price tag? I'm still a little confused on what i get. Trim on my leather seats, some stickers and painted black rims? Or is there more i'm missing? Also post pics of your if you have it, can't decide on a color of the truck. Was thinking white.

I didn't. Think It was worth the $$$$ . I just went for the xlt with luxury and off road pkg, but I wish I had shifter on console

I vote no its not worth the price for the $$$! It includes the red piping on the seats, suedish inserts( a pain to maintain), black wheels, fugly sticker decals (sides and hood), as well as lackluster side steps IMO.... Most Op only get it for the seat material!

I didn't think it was worth it, I got all the options I could except that. I don't care for the trim on seats either. Good luck on your choice.

I didnt think FX's came with a Chrome tip... never saw that b4!

I went for it. The FX4 i got was in the colour i liked (grey) and had all the options i wanted. I also got power folding mirrors and heated and cooled seats. The other ones on the lot without the appearance package didnt seem to have the cooled seats or the power folding mirrors. I am not sure this is part of the package or just the way this one was optioned.

I'm pretty sure that appearance package includes it. Mine didn't have one, but I knew I would be putting another exhaust on anyway.

Don't quote me on it, cause I'm no Appearance package expert although I have one... But I think you hit on the head, that's all it really is: black and red interior trim, black and red badges, vinyl stripes, and I'm pretty sure that's about it. Honestly I never even considered the app pack, even thought it was kind of ugly... But then I got a massively awesome deal on a used one, and now I love it.

Personally if I had $40k+ to spend on a truck I would buy an FX4 ruby red with the app pack. I think it's beautiful, still love my sterling grey, but I lust over that ruby red every time I see one......

And my $.02 on the white, ew. But that's just me, with the red, black, and white, there are just too many strong contrasting colors.

Toddman's right though, the steps are not very grippy, and not a lot of surface area. The normal FX steps are better, but not by much...
