Default Fx4 20" wheels paint or leave silver

I just got a set of Fx4 20" silver wheels, I'm debating on whether to paint/powdercoat them a satin black or just leave them the color they are. Does anyone happen to have a set of Fx4 20s that they painted black and put them on a silver fx4?

Just plasti-dip them black, looks just as good as powder-coating them, plus if you change your mind you can just peel it off to its original finish. Check out "devin4x4" profile... That's what he did and what I plan on doing.

Maybe find someone with an appearance package truck and trade with them?

I have considered this very same thing. I'd love to see some before/after of plasti-dipping. Even though my neighbor has the appearance package (and I love the look) I am just so nervous about pulling the trigger. At least the plastidip comes off.

Leave the silver. I think black looks great, but is not as unique as it was anymore. I personally like the gunmetal / silver / matte grey finishes better... I recently came from the bmw modding world, and there were some incredible silver, black, charcoal colored cars with dark silver or gunmetal wheels...

THIS^^ Black looks good on some colours but the silver will look better on black (My opinion of course).

I'm gonna have to look into who does plasti-dip in my area. Haven't really heard much about it.

You can do it yourself, it's sold at most hardware stores.. I got mine at Home Depot for $5 a can (If you're in Canada it's not sold there, but I can't remember where to find it in Canada). Most people use around one can per wheel, so about $20! It's really easy, too.. Like everyone said, you can always just peel it off!!

How durable is this stuff and do you recommend I do it before or after I get the tires installed?
