I'm still confused with my FX4 came with highway tires instead of all terrain.

LMAO! I def. agree about the non off road tires. Are these scorpians supposed to be an off road tire? Anyhow, sorry to get off topic but thanks for the XLT package heads up. Makes sense now.

Thanks for all the replies guys. Lots of good info! I live in the south (no snow) and I have an FX4 now. I've used the FWD less that 5 times. I think limited slip rear end is all I need. Why pay the extra thousands for a lot of metal I have to push around. I love my FX4 and it handles great but I think the FX2 may handle a little better and have better milage and cost less.

can anyone who has bought an FX2 recently tell me if you get the same rebates for one as you would the XLT or is it the same rebates as the STX?

Havent bought one, but since its an option on an XLT Im sure it would fall under the XLT rebates
