Default List of quantity for project

I was checking out the website www.theretrofitsource.com and looking at the thread creators list of items to install the headlights. Can you tell us all what quantity of each item was required to complete the install?

You mentioned there were Apollo Shrouds, I see them listed on the website but you continue with "custom extensions"... Im hoping you show in photos what makes them custom.
Looking forward to more photos and details so when I go do my 2012 XLT headlamps that I have all the information needed and any "secrets" do make it easy and thorough.

Thanks,

Just follow this thread....you will see.
Because the Apollo shrouds are not deep in overall height, a shroud extension will fill in the blank (void) space between the rearmost edge of the shroud and the head light bucket. This will provide a finished, professional looking installation.

Here's an update of nixx's retrofit....

I've got the the majority of the work done for one light now. The reflector bucket has been Dremeled out to accept the FX-R 3.0 projectors. The 3.0 reflector bucket is different from earlier versions of the FX-R, so ignore the red lines on the back, that is from a template for the old version of these projectors. Obviously I will create new templates using the 3.0 openings now.

Extremely minor trimming is needed on the inside of the Apollo shrouds to fit snug on these FX-R 3.0's. As can bee seen in the photos below, a shroud extension will be required as the projector and mounting hardware can be seen from the side. This custom made aluminum extension will fill this gap and make for a professional looking OEM job!!!

I fired up the projector with a 50w 6K spare bulb I have....looks really good...but sorry, no pics of the output yet.

I haven't cleaned or polished the chrome yet, so please don't think that's the way it will look finished!!!

Here's the photos....
