Default A funny thing happened when….

My wife and I were doing our typical Saturday afternoon family putting while she shops for whatever it is she feels like shopping for this weekend. We pull up to a red-light and this lifted Ram 1500 drives past us.

My wife then says, out loud mind you, "Maybe your truck would look better lifted."

Does that sound like a green light to you guys???? I think it's time I start doing some planning. Any suggestions would be appreciated. If I do this, I don't want to go all crazy with it. Should I level and just go with bigger tires or should I do like a 4" lift?

depends what you want to spend, 4 inch lift and 35's look awesome on these trucks. but a level and a set of tires is alot cheaper.

Not long ago I was sitting at an intersection and a Dodge Ram pulled up beside me and revved it's engine. My wife nudged me and said; "You gonna race him?" Which is odd because I'm not married, but it reminded me to take my medication.

Agreed do it before she says no. My old lady/ex/idk what we are lol was all for wanting to lift and bigger tires when we got my truck that lasted like 2 weeks then she didn't want me putting any money into it lol I mentioned a level to her and she said no we have bills (aka she has bills needs my money)
So while we are apart for the week I bought a leveling kit. Put leds in the grille and plastidipped all my emblems lol

Sounds like a green light to me! If you have the cash, I suggest the 4" lift. I've done the level route and I like the look and ride of my Rancho a lot better than the level. I'm in Lewisville so if you ever want to see one in person let me know. I'm sure we could meet somewhere on a weekend or something...

Plus I still fit in my garage which is necessary if you don't like hail damage in North Texas.

This made me laugh out loud, to the point my wife asked what was funny and I quickly stopped and just said "oh nothing"
