Seems like a lot of money for that truck. It's MSRP is around 50k, buying that truck brand new you can get it for at 40k easy, maybe even lower.

I bought a 2015 similar optioned truck for 34k, and even at that price I am only saving about 4k off what it would cost brand new.

Not sure where you are located, but I tried hard to buy that exact truck (only in Black) and had a heck of a time finding one. I am in the Midwest, and that truck would sell for more than 37k here. I think 37k is a good to great price for it. Perhaps ask for some accessories if they won't budge on the price. Tonneau cover, bug shield, or even the tires. Tell them you will only take it if they pay to replace the tires because those are junk that are on it.

Around my area that is a fair price as well. It really depends on if the want beats out the need.

The sticker was $53,230 so $15,930 off that + like you said maybe $10k off MRSP with the rebates, so leaving really $5930 ish of a real depreciation, is what you are thinking. The other issue is costs keep going up, which in turn eats some depreciation and thus some vehicles sell for more than what you paid for them in some cases, I have personally seen this with a Wrangler for sure. So the question becomes, is it really a deal or just fancy footwork with numbers to make it look like a deal. What 15 did you get for $34k an FX4 fulled loaded? That seems impressive. I looked at a 16 mind you a sticker of $63k and I can't get it down past the mid $50k mark with rebates. What about the same truck, no graphics, $30k asking, 58k on the clock, a 13 EB, great service records, but the engine sounds hammered? Seems the extra $7,300 maybe worth it with only 10k on the clock? So 50k less miles that has a greater value no?

Thanks

I have the exact same truck but a 2013 in ruby red and I love it. Could not be happier. Imo the 37k is a pretty fair price (especially with only 10k on the clock). You will be hard pressed to find a new one with those graphics, options, and the 3.5 eco close to that price. It seems like with the new ones they are really pushing the 2.7 eco and the 3.5 has become a premium option. 2.7 is a great motor however.

Not to mention the AC seats in this truck are awesome!

Yeah and you have the truck I want, we love love love the Ruby Red one thanks for the tip... It just seems like it should be $36k ish not $37k ish with those crappy tires that come with the truck a few rock chips and a scuff on the one rim. I have yet to even see this in person yet....

That price sounds pretty high to me....but what do I know...the used truck prices have shocked me.

I did see that many dealers in the VA area had a few '16 models similarly priced for less then that. Hell, I did a little email back and forth with LecknerFord on a 16 white 3.5L EB Screw SB with FX4 and Sport appearance and 302A package for around $35k. (no leather however)

Just looking on Cars.com There are a few 2014's for less then the $37k (Ruby Red as well)...These are without any negotiating done yet...assuming they may work with you a little.

Or, as I said, a new 16 for basically what you are looking to pay for this one (again, ruby red)...just no leather...not sure that's a deal breaker.

Yeah it's the condition and miles that even has me thinking the silver one, less than 10k on the clock, and I have seen some close ups of some of the other ones, paint wise, most are going to need work and with graphics, that is a pita for sure, plus the question becomes will one panel of graphics look newer than then other, that has to be a pain to match and not know it.

I guess I wouldn't expect perfection on a used truck, so a few small scratches and a possible ding here or there wouldn't phase me. I wouldn't go to the terrible of repainting and getting it "perfect".

I assumed you wanted the graphics.. There were others in the search without..... So the criteria you have sounds pretty strict, if that's the case then the one you are looking at seems
fine.
