Default Fuel pump(?) help 2009 xcab 4.6 w 6sp trans

Truck simply would not start, with no prior issue. Couldn't hear fuel pump when key turned on. Swapped relays back and forth to check. Fuel filter is relatively new. Purchased fuel pump "assembly." Meaning the whole dang thing that goes into tank, dropped tank, swapped out, etc. fired right up. Drove for three days without incident. Yesterday after a short drive, again with no issue, went back to truck approx one hour later and it would turn over but not fire- exactly like it did before fuel pump was replaced. This is my kids truck, with a ton of miles, but other than this- engine runs absolutely great...I really need help!

FPDM... located under your spare tire mounted to the frame rail. I am not sure the 09 has this or not...

Will find out soon! The thing that has me baffled is that the truck ran for a few days after swapping pump...

I know.. the Fuel Pump Driver Module gets corroded and become intermittent especially when it's raining or gets wet.

20amp fuse, slot 27 under hood...replaced it, it looked a little black and melted on one side...swapped it out, runs great. Discovered a TSB exists for relocating that fuse...
