Fuel Door Problem
Has anybody had the fuel door to come loose from the hinge? I have a 2010 with 3k on it and the fuel door was loose so I pulled on it and it came right off the hinge so I slide it back on it with right on but it not real tight..

There is one connection where the painted lid itself, slides on to the larger flat portion of the hinge arm with a locking clip to hold it in place....then there is the portion where the hinge arm goes inside the truck body and is held in with some sort of tension spring. Mine and many others have come loose on the end which is inside the body or fender well, where it just flops around (due to the tensioner or retainer spring failing) and will not let it stay in place firmly against the fuel door cavity.
Just trying to help you here.
