I use 87 non-ethanol. I've never tried 93 octane 10% ethanol - but I have run a tank of 87 & 89 10%. It may be my imagination, but the truck seems to drive better with non-ethanol. MPG are all over the place tank to tank - south Florida weather...the wind shifts and a head wind really kills any "economy". But I've averaged 17.5 lifetime using non-ethanol most of the time.

Doesn't matter. The dealer I can promise you filled up with E10 87. Whatever makes you happier. I run E10 87 in mine and have no issues.
You will get a tiny bit better MPG with non ethanol but the cost factor is normally equal to the tiny but less MPG but cheaper E10 87.

I've gotten better mileage with 93 octane. Enough to make it awash with the savings of 87.

What's the difference in power between 87/93 for the 3.5 EB? Just curious. My friends new ecoboost Escape states in the manual a 20 or 25hp difference and that's a 2.0L.
