I suspect electrical gremlins somewhere.
It's just irritating. I had installed my amp turn on (as mentioned in 3rd or so post). I wondered where I had run the remote amp turn of to so this past saturday I looked and noticed I had plugged into Fuse Location #32 (Delay/accessory – moon roof, power windows, locks, Automatic dimming mirror/Compass). Thought to myself I am such a DUMB***** and moved it to another switched fuse (trailer brake) and figured that was it!!!! Yahoo!!!! (I thought ) then that night it happened again.

So now I will probably have to bring in, but I am sure they are going to say it has to do with my amp.

Its not your amp.
Happened to me once a few weeks ago. Driver side didn't go down. 2011 scab XLT. Stock. No electrical upgrades.

I wonder if these problems have any relation to the issue with the driver door speaker cutting in and out. There is a known issue with the harness that goes between the door and the A pillar. Inside that boot is the wiring for everything in the door including windows/locks/speaker etc.

I've noticed my speaker cuts out when its cold and it has something to do with that harness because if I push on it, it sometimes goes on and off. Of course it DIDN'T do that when I brought it to the dealer.

I'm just thinking that perhaps the wires are stressed inside the harness and the power for the windows cuts out at times?

I hear ya - but when it happens, I do not do anything to the door (it's closed or open). I shut ignition off and turn back on and then they work. Although it NEVER happens to my rear super cab windows. Even more confused now....

Hmmm... that is strange. It almost sounds like a software thing rather than a physical part. Like the window control needs to be rebooted by starting the engine again.

Mine did this once.. Finally figured out to restart it and it went to working again. Mine was down and wouldn't go up.

That would suck if it starts to rain.

Luckily I was in the garage... But I was pretty PO'd that my truck with less than 1000 miles on it had already broke.

Mine does this as well. It may last a few minutes or for a day. Of course I can't reproduce it when I take it in for service.

Default F150 Front windows not working

My F150 Lariat did this this morning. Started wtih remote start, unlocked, got in, inserted key, everything lit up. Went to role down the drivers window to clean the mirror and nothing. Tried passenger window and after a brief hesitation it sort of worked. It was unpredictable and jerkey. Didn't try it much after that as afraid it would stop working open.
Got to work and turned truck off and restarted and drivers window started working again; passenger window still a bit quirky. Many posts about this sort of problem.
