Default Front Windows - Do not always work after starting?

This happening to anyone else?

I get in start the truck (has happend with remote start as well) and off I go. Sometimes I go to roll window down and either the passenger or driver window will not roll down. I have to pull over, shut of truck and restart then all is fine. Happens probably 2 times every 10 starts.

Oddly enough my '12 did this as I went to pay at the parking garage at the airport the other day. Baffled me and has not happened since. I thought for sure I would have to take the truck in to the dealer. But its been okay since.

Wonder what the cause could be? And did it only happen to you guys with your windows up? Mine was up and had not been used in a couple days. Maybe we can see if we have the same kind of setups.

Cold starts. No mods except sub wired into fuse panel. It's almost as if I start And take off right away. Not sure but it baffles me.

I let my truck boot-up after I start it with the key. Takes maybe 5-10 seconds before everything functions as it should. I assume that all of the buttons and switches we use are really just keystrokes or mouse clicks going to a CPU.

Once in a while my switches won't work at all, or sometimes I'll hit the switch to raise the window and it will suddenly stop and drop all the way down. I get the feeling it has something to do with the child safety feature that keeps them from being able to guillotine themselves with the window. I've heard some in-channel window vents will cause the same problem; window goes up, hits some resistance, thinks a baby has its head stuck in there and it drops the window down. Only in my case, I have no window vents (or babies' heads) in the way. For whatever reason, the sensor gets confused, thinks there's an obstruction and drops the window....its definitely not consistant enough that I have any real concerns over it, or feel the need to bring it in though...for what that's worth?

I have had the window not roll down one time right after starting on my 2011 and it didn't work until I restarted the truck. On many occasions I have had the windows down and they wouldn't roll up unless I pulled the switch several times. It has caused me to leave the window down accidentally when getting out of the truck without realizing it.

Happened to me a the Tim Horton's drive through about a month ago. Had to open the door to order my coffee. I then shut it off and started it back up again and it worked. Hasn't happened again since.

I have had the samething happen to my 2011 screw right after startup. All windows worked and functioned fine except for front passenger side. It wouldn't roll down. Kept trying it periodically on my 20 min drive to work and it finally went down and back up like there was never a problem. Never restarted the truck to get it going. I suspect electrical gremlins somewhere.
