Default DDM Hid Kits

Anyone ever heard of these guys? I had a friend tell me about them. He has used a couple of their kits and really likes them. He said its about $120 for a full HID headlight and fog light conversion.

Thoughts?

I have read good things about them, lifetime warranty to boot! Just wait for all the comments you're about to receive on doing a "proper projector conversion"...

I have never put them in a vehicle head light house and never will. Don't want to blind ppl and lose visibility. But that's your business.

I have used them in several hella hid mods, aerial lights around my tractor, never had major issues with them. One of the ballast messed up on me once and never looked into replacing it.

Just for the record I want the look of HID and the brighter light at night. I am not out to blind people.

I have a couple buddies running DDMkits and they've been happy. They sell them at their shop and they do the kits about once a week in customers vehicles.

The last I heard of them, they switched from being produced in the US to China and shipping takes a few weeks. A couple of my buddy's ordered them both before and after and saw a drop in quality when they switched to the Chinese made parts. One of them had his truck burn down from the light malfunctioning but I have very reason to believe that it was entirely his fault but he blamed the lights (he doesn't exactly read the manual when he installs things).

Don't let that deter you from them, I have heard much more good than bad but keep in mind they are a slightly inexpensive brand of HID's so you get what you pay for. Let us know how it turns out for you!

No... They have always been made in China. DDM used to ship from their warehouse in California to the customer. Now the package just comes out of the factory directly to you.
