Forgive me if this is a dunmb question. Tried search button but did not know what to search. What if anything are the two plastic rectangles inside of the fog lights for on front bumper of the truck???

Partially for appearances - notice they carry the shadow line out to match the edges of the grill above the bumper, and partially to give a consumable piece that is inexpensive to replace when some chucklehead backs into the front of your truck in a parking lot.
