Default Front Mounted Receiver

Has anyone installed a front mounted receiver on there 09 or 10 F-150. I as looking at adding one and was wondering what trimming or modifications had to be made if any.

Google Curtis Manufacturing. Model 31368. You can download the installation manual.

Yes there is trimming.

Someone has to ask. Why? I've seen front mounted receivers on trucks...just not sure what they're used for. Moving trailers around a shop?

1. some people aren't comfortable "backing" trailers.

2. It's a great and cheap way to mount a winch on the front of the truck, and that way it can be removed when not in use.
