So far they stop same as stock, no noise and 1/2 the dust. I am very happy with them and under $40 amazon shipped is amazing.

Wagner has several styles of pads I'm sure. If you got the semi metallic then I'm sure they will create black dust.

And you always know who they are because of their perpetual brake lights and you can never tell when they actually are braking.

OEx throw the least dust and are my favorite brakes for the occasional tow-er. SDs are for the heavy tow-er and I automatically use them on 250s up. TQs are average but shook dust quickly. QSs are straight trash and should only be used on your civics and for sale vehicles.
My OEX have 30k miles and are doing great compared to the stock's and Autozone versions.

I'm about sick of the dust situation, so maybe I should have some of the OEx pads. I have no idea. I had NO dust problem (I'm talking about the fronts) until I had the truck (2015 Lariat SuperCrew) in for regular servicing and they said I needed a brake job. I had a fair amount of miles on it at the time, so it seemed like a reasonable thing at a reasonable time. After they put new pads on the front... LORD HOWDY! The brake dust was AWFUL! I even called them to ask if they used the same pads as what came on the truck and the guy said yes. Well, they're WAY past any kind of break-in period, or whatever, and I'm sick and flippin' tired of the gosh-darn BRAKE DUST ALL THE DAMN TIME! Hey, I get it, I understand "some" brake dust... BUT THIS IS RIDICULOUS! So are the OEx pads the way to go, or what? I haven't towed anything yet, though the truck is built to do it, but I 'might' tow something, someday... but for the most part, it gets me back and forth to work and does transportation for the occasional road trip.
I'm at wit's end. I don't want to put up with any squeaking. I've been reading the "dust" threads on the forums here for a long time and still can't nail down what pads I should get. The whole situation is a tad frustrating. Everything was fine, with regard to dust, until the brake job.

About a thousand miles on my Oex pads and no noise and minimal dust. Very happy I went with them. I will be putting them on the wife’s MDX soon as welll. My new favorite suv and truck pads. They take an awful beating on the fleet suv’s at the university I work at and they are great right to their end of life.

Well, there are generally considered to be 3-4 types of pads, although they are all mixes of various material and can cross over which type they are.
Organic (most dust, wear out faster)
Ceramic (least dust, last longer, more expensive)
Semi-Metallic (medium dust, noisier, wear out rotors faster)
If you are going to try analyzing this a little deeper, there are many sources on the internet that give better explanations than I could. Just search for 'brake pad type'.
I like my OEX so far. I've been fighting occasional noise, but I don't think it's the pads.
