2. Stop Engine and use an entire spray can of Engine Degreaser and wait 10-15 minutes.
3. Making sure filter housing is sealed, use a pressure washer to spray/rinse the engine. (If you only have a garden hose it might work as well).
4. Start engine and let it evaporate the water.
5. Once dry, spray ArmorAll tire dressing foam all over the plastic/rubber parts.
6. Regrease your ground points.
You're done!!

I was all set on this process until you mentioned Armor All..... I wouldn't use that junk to polish a turd, let alone use it on my vehicle.

I wash the engine in my vehicles at least a couple times a year, also each oil change, and rinse off at every car wash time. And I don't cover/protect anything.
Any kind of cleaner or dishwashing detergent like dawn, diluted in a spary bottle works great.
Second, the no Armour all or dressing of any kind, just clean.

The OPP asked what he did, and he told us. There's many ways it could be done.

To the armor all haters...it's come a long way from one type of application method.
i usually use a spray bottle with dish soap to clean. A detail spray on the hard plastic...and one MAYBE two armor all wet wipes. Not sure why it's so hated? It's not like It's the steering wheel or running boards?
OP: bay looks awesome!

Back in the day one of our guys used Armor-all on his engine. The belts slipped like crazy...hopefully, that's not a problem anymore. Nice, clean engine OP.
