Default Fresh Air Intakes

I just bought a 2013 FX4 with the 5.0 and wanted to know what's a good aftermarket air intake that requires no tune? Not sure if Ford racing is the best way to go or a Roush?

Thanks

Always been an AirAid fan, had it on my 2004 and it was awesome.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. Most of them are quality intakes. Myself, I believe the factory intake is a well designed system so I just put a K&N drop in for more airflow.

Roush, Air Raid, K&N, Afe. So many choices. All good reviews. $212 for the K&N seems like quite a deal though with the others being well over $300.

I've been toying with the idea for a few years of adding a CAI. What I heard is that they add minimal extra HP and don't do much for the truck unless combined with a new performance exhaust. Anyone out there please let us know your thoughts. I wanted a CAI for the added sound and possible little better fuel milage.

What I have read on here is that a CAI does little for the truck without a tune. Mainly just noise. Truck has a factory CAI.

Roush advertises their CAI as not needing a tune. They make very high quality products, and the CAI is very easy to install. I was also intrigued by the close collaboration between Ford and Roush. $295 on eBay.
