Freedom Off-Road UCA anybody bought them?

The thing I notice is that the Fabtech UCA looks to be still drooping down, but the large uniball's ability to articulate farther allows it not to bind during its travel. The Freedom Offroad UCA uses a stock type ball joint that is lowered in its mounting sleeve. This keeps the UCA more level and, essentially, gives the effect of a replacement spindle housing with an extended upper ball joint mount. The two manufacturers are accomplishing similar goals by different means.
I have the icons and they seem to correct the geometry way more than the pic of those fabtechs. they have a tapered design so there is like a full inch between the top of the spindle and the uca. Im happy with mine.

Well I bought a set and installed them last month, since I didn't get any response from anyone who had already tried them out I took the plunge..
They do appear to be well made I like the idea of regular style ball joints as well as the factory style (rubber) control arm bushings both of which are replaceable..
Here are some pic's of them, and some of them installed..

You are absolutely dead-on. My experience is car/truck forums and threads become useless after a year or two because of penny-pinching by the site owners not allowing in-site photo storage. It drives me nuts when I'm trying to research something down the road and all the picture links and webpage links are dead. Welcome to the internet. It's great and useless all at the same time.

I realize this is an old thread, but I’m also interested in updates. I’d like to replace my stock ucas and take my bilsteins up to 2.25” (currently at 1.5”), But I don’t want aftermarket wheels. I like my stockers. All ucas I’ve seen require at least 5” backspacing where the stockers are almost 6”. Suggestions?

I bought a set of freedom off road uca's for 2-4" lift. Couldn't be happier.
Is anybody using these UCA's?
The price is attractive, I like the idea of replaceable ball joints as well as the factory style control arm bushings...

I would imagine they have to be better than stock. The ONLY reason I ended up with Total Chaos was finding a year old pair locally for $450. I would probably go this route and not think twice if I didn't find the TC. On a side note, the TC arms are hella beefy and the quality is top notch.
